Line-up our tea
All tea are cultivated without any chemicals and grown up by only organic
fertilizer.
This is half-fermented tea. It's rare to see domestic half-fermented tea. It should be categorized as Oolong tea which is also half-fermented, but the taste is pretty different. We named our half-fermented tea "U-non-cha" after our family name. After harvesting our tea leaves we put them in the sun for a while where they start to ferment. The process needs good care and ample supervision. It has a refreshing aroma and clear taste. In summer, we also recommend that you drink it cold.(1000yen/70g-weight with package:80g)
@To make this black tea, we use the "yabukita" tea plant which is normally suited for making green tea. Unlike tea from foreign countries such as India, it is less bitter and has a milder aroma. We recommend you drink this black tea without milk and sugar. (tea leaves 1000yen/150g-weight with package:165g, tea bags 800yen/30*3g bags-weight with package:115g)
It has less caffeine than other tea. Thus children, pregnant women and elderly people who would prefer not to have caffeine can drink it with no worries. It is also suitable to carry this tea in a bottle as it does not oxidize like typical green tea, thus maintaining its color and taste. (600yen/200g-weight with package:220g)
The first harvested green tea is not only processed into tea leaves but also into fine powder. Although it is said that whole tea leaves offer the most effective form of nutritional intake, our powdered form offers a quick and convenient alternative that maintains the health benefits of green tea. Empty one sachet into a 500mL plastic bottle, pour water into it and shake thoroughly. Other uses include mixing it with shochu to produce a popular Shizuoka beverage called "Ocha-wari", adding it to cookies and pancakes as well as sprinkling it on vanilla ice cream. This product also comes in an easy-to-use, compact and reusable container. (stick type 1500yen/100*1g bags-weight with package:155g)
